After the Tuskers first official practice outside of the Citrus Bowl on Thunder Field, I chatted with Tuskers wide receiver Chas Gessner about the practice and his expectations of quarterback Brooks Bollinger.
Q: Chas, what are you looking for out of the first day of official practice?
A: We are really looking for everybody to come out hard, set the tempo and ease into things for the first couple of days. There are a lot of ‘cats that haven’t been in this offense before so we are trying to bring them along, and overall it was a good day.”
Q: Another year with Brooks Bollinger at quarterback with the Tuskers, how did he look today and what are looking for out of your quarterback this year?
A: I’m excited to have him back, and just like anything we are easing back into it right now. Brooks (Bollinger) is a veteran guy, he’ll take care of business and we all know that.

I am telling you guys. At some point this season Matt Grothe will be the starting QB! He is the future of the Tuskers!
